About Me

My practice focuses on construction law and general corporate advising to professionals in the construction industry. I represent architects, engineers, visual artists and other design professionals in dispute resolution proceedings and provide counsel on the preparation and negotiation of design contracts. I also advise clients with regard to state and board licensure requirements, intellectual property rights, real property transactions, and employment law matters.

I have six years of NYC construction-related practice experience in both transactional and litigation matters. After graduating law school, I worked for four years at a small, boutique law firm in midtown Manhattan, primarily advising and representing architects and design professionals in handling contractual issues and coverage matters related to construction disputes. Following that, I worked for two years at a mid-size law firm with offices in NYC and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. During that time, I’ve built a considerable amount of experience working with design agreements and construction contracts as well as experience assisting with complex construction litigation.

I’m active in the NYC pro bono arts community, helping creative individuals and organizations with their legal needs.

Prior to my career in the law, I worked for several years in the nonprofit sector, assisting art museums and galleries with their exhibitions and institutional operations.
